FAQ
We get lots of questions and it is hard to say which are asked more frequently than others. If you do not see your question listed here, please reach out to us here
Absolutely. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. All work is done using specifically worded contracts so you know exactly what you are receiving.
Yes with the following 2 exceptions.
The first is if the material need (gravel is an example of this)
is variable, then the quote will state that and use a best estimate
of the amount needed.
The second is on remodels, there is the chance of uncovering
unknown issues that would not be included
in the quote. Our quote will touch on the possible common issues
that could be found so that if one of these issues arises, it
won't be a surprise as you
were made aware of the possibility.
Yes, we do. We have our own crew for certain things like carpentry and finish work but do frequently work with subcontractors
Not usually right away, unless its a small project. Obviously, new builds and whole house remodels take some time to coordinate. We use subcontractors for various aspects and prefer to use our "usual" people which can cause slight delays.
That is absolutely possible, but will it will amend the contract. We call that a change order. We'll document all the aspects of the change including the material and labor costs, then sign it as an addendum to the existing contract.
If ever you have any issue with work performed by us or one of our subcontractors, just reach out and we'll come assess and fix the issue.
Yes we do. We warranty all of our work for a year or longer, depending on the type of work performed.
Everything residential and light commercial. We do not offer site preparation, electrical, plumbbing, septic or HVAC as singular services, but we arrange to have these things provided when we are building..
We do a portion (usually a third) as a down payment, another portion halfway through, and the remainder after the work is done.
